Moving into Your New Home

Our offices are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

When a room becomes available, the Administrator will contact you by phone to arrange your date of admission. Please have someone accompany you on the day you move in. That person will assist you in getting your things organized and set up.

Pinaow Wachi staff will choose the room you move into based on your needs and availability. Should your needs change, a move may be required. You and your family will be notified before relocation.

Shortly after you arrive, you and your family will be welcomed by our staff. The staff consists of the following people.

  • You
  • Your family and/or friends
  • Administrator
  • Nursing
  • Recreation
  • Laundry Services
  • Housekeeping Services
  • Dietary Services

Staff will have questions for you and your family about the different kinds of care they need to provide. They welcome your questions, and we will develop your individual care plan together. The meeting usually takes about an hour. It is a chance for us to meet and get to know each other. In addition, the administrator will talk to you about the financial aspects of your stay, and will help you make billing arrangements and open a trust account.
